Corporate culture, as a modern management theory and approach, has been applied in some enterprises in China for more than ten years. As a reflection of socialist culture in the production and operation activities of enterprises, as well as the labor and life of employee groups, corporate culture emerged and developed with the emergence and development of enterprises. However, as a new modern enterprise management theory and science, corporate culture was only formed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and has been in China for more than 20 years; It is a transformation and reconstruction of traditional management theory under new historical conditions, based on inheriting the excellent achievements of various management theories in history.  

In fact, corporate culture is not unfamiliar to us. This can be found in traditional Chinese thought, as well as in the excellent traditions of enterprise management practice and ideological and political work since the founding of the People's Republic of China

In fact, we have been working in this area all along, but we did not call it "corporate culture" or elevate it to a management concept. Therefore, after the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, corporate culture was introduced to our country in the tide of reform and opening up, and received attention from both the theoretical and business circles in our country. So what is corporate culture? I believe that corporate culture is a management culture within a certain social and cultural context. It is a new modern scientific and management approach, as well as a spiritual driving force and cultural resource. He advocates that people are both the subject and object of management, and they are at the center of modern enterprise production and operation activities. On the basis of improving the management of "things", he highlights the management of "people" and organically combines the management of "people" with the management of "things"; In the management of "people", both the normative role of systems and discipline are emphasized, and the full play of human spiritual factors and initiative is emphasized. "Hard management" and "soft management" are organically combined, with "soft management" as the main focus, in order to promote the coordinated development of the three major elements of material, institutional, and spiritual management within the management, and achieve the overall optimization of enterprise management functions. In summary, corporate culture mainly serves to achieve the goals of the enterprise by regulating its behavior from the deep level of management through the power of spirit and culture. From this point of view, the purpose of establishing corporate culture is to develop the enterprise.

From the perspective of the enterprise itself, the construction of corporate culture is a cultural driving force for promoting enterprise reform and development. Reform and development are the two major issues for enterprises. In the process of reform and development, enterprises need spiritual motivation, intellectual support, and ideological guarantees. If the construction of corporate culture is well done, it can play an effective and positive role in these three aspects. Specifically manifested in the following main aspects:

(1) Strengthening the construction of corporate culture has promoted the liberation of people's minds and the renewal of their concepts; The transformation and updating of ideological concepts are the key to deepening enterprise reform, transforming enterprise management mechanisms, establishing modern enterprise systems, and achieving the "two fundamental transformations". In this regard, corporate culture fully demonstrates its irreplaceable role.  

(2) Strengthening the construction of corporate culture is conducive to streamlining the relationships between people and objects, as well as between people within the enterprise, promoting the rationalization of management structure, realizing the scientific management of the enterprise, and opening up effective ways to mobilize the enthusiasm of employees and enhance the vitality of the enterprise.  

(3) Strengthening the construction of corporate culture promotes people-oriented management, not only enhances the awareness of relying on employees internally, but also strengthens democratic management; Moreover, it has increased the awareness of serving consumers externally, striving to meet their needs, winning social reputation with high-quality and affordable products and services, thereby establishing a good corporate image, enhancing competitiveness, growing intangible assets, and ensuring the long-term prosperity and sustainable development of the enterprise.  

(4) Strengthening the construction of corporate culture promotes the harmonious integration of internal economic, political, and cultural factors in production and operation activities. This not only helps to overcome the disconnect between ideological and political work in enterprises and production and operation activities, but also strengthens ideological and political work; Moreover, it has also found an effective integration point for the construction of two civilizations in enterprises, and incorporated the construction of spiritual civilization into enterprise management, which is easy to operate and implement, thus facilitating the coordinated development of the construction of two civilizations in enterprises.  

(5) Strengthening the construction of corporate culture has optimized the humanistic environment of the enterprise, improved the interpersonal relationships between leaders and subordinates, and between employees. This helps to stimulate employees' dedication and love for the factory, enhance their sense of identification with the company's goals, strengthen their sense of ownership, responsibility, belonging, and cohesion, thereby effectively mobilizing the enthusiasm, creativity, and inner potential of the employees, and making the enterprise full of vitality and energy.

(6) Strengthening the construction of corporate culture has prompted enterprises to enhance the requirements for comprehensively improving personnel quality, actively creating mechanisms and cultural atmosphere for talent growth within the enterprise, and improving the overall quality of employees from various aspects such as ideology, morality, scientific culture, and business technology, creating favorable conditions for the development of talent resources in the enterprise. This is not only an urgent need for enterprises, but also an urgent need for society.  

From an external perspective, corporate culture has a profound impact on society in terms of economy, politics, and culture due to its enormous radiation effect. One of them is that there are millions of various types of enterprises in China, spread across the country, gathering billions of conscious and organized workers, possessing strong technical equipment, and serving as the main pillar of the country's economy and politics. Building a socialist corporate culture on this basis helps promote political stability, economic development, and cultural prosperity in the country. Looking at the overall situation, the positive role of building corporate culture goes far beyond the enterprise itself. So, from a macro perspective, corporate culture is directly related to the rise and fall of the social economy. Strengthening the construction of corporate culture can promote and accelerate the growth of national wealth and economic development. Secondly, as the growth point of socialist new culture, the construction of corporate culture is not only beneficial to economic development, but also to the development of cultural undertakings. Especially, the development of cultural undertakings has always relied on the support of material resources, and among various social cultures, the material foundation of corporate culture is the strongest. Therefore, strengthening the construction of corporate culture can quickly promote the prosperity and development of social and cultural undertakings.
