Since the beginning of this year, major production and food safety accidents have occurred in some places, causing significant losses to people's lives and property. Taking a comprehensive view of these accidents, although they occurred in different industries and fields, we must deeply learn from the lessons of the accidents, draw lessons from them, and keep the alarm bell ringing, so as to achieve "zero cost" safety production and not "keep the alarm bell ringing".  

For the special industry of electricity, safety management is crucial to the overall harmony and social stability of electricity production, as well as public safety and national security. Personnel at all levels should attach great importance to it and must not slack off in any way. After the Olympics and Paralympics, construction projects such as infrastructure, urban development, and power grid construction across the country, as well as large-scale autumn maintenance, are being fully implemented. There must be no thoughts of relaxing, taking a break, or taking a breath. However, some units only focus on meeting deadlines and emphasizing efficiency in production, and cannot strictly implement safety operating procedures. They are willing to sacrifice safety and greatly reduce safety management; Some units are often sounded with alarm bells, but there are still some people who cannot hear them or pretend not to hear them. They are mentally numb, slow and powerless in action, fail to implement safety production responsibilities, do not carefully investigate hidden dangers, and do not implement rectification measures; Some management departments have insufficient on-site guidance and supervision, only listening to reports and summarizing, and only staying at the level of communication and arrangement without conducting in-depth on-site inspections. The measures taken to check, track, assess, and implement the arranged work are not sufficient, which has also caused grassroots units to have a relaxed mindset and insufficient efforts to rectify hidden dangers. In the end, the "alarm bell" has become a "shocking bell". Once an accident occurs, it not only backfires and leaves people and finances in vain, but also causes serious losses to individuals, collectives, and national property, seriously affecting the promotion of harmonious power construction and a harmonious society. Safe production, the alarm bell rings long. May this long ringing alarm not only sound our ears, but also alert our hearts and fulfill our responsibilities. The closer the production task is to the end of the year, the more we need to focus on safety management, never slackening or being careless for a moment. We must attach great importance to safety production and team stability in accordance with the requirements of "three hundred percent", establish a long-term mechanism for hidden danger investigation and governance, and promote the institutionalization and standardization of hidden danger investigation and governance. Never pick up "sesame seeds" or lose "watermelon" just because of discounts in safety management, or even end up empty handed.
